		<description><![CDATA[I usually say that the testers are part of the Customer role, because only the Customer can accept work as complete.  The testers are responsibile for elaborating details about requirements (in the form of edge cases) and helping the Customer decide whether or not to accept a given story.

There is value to lumping the testers in with the developers, in that the testers usually have specific work to be done along with the developers in completing each story, and there&#039;s a back-and-forth between the two during an iteration.  But I really think of the testers as sort of an extended customer proxy.]]></description>
