The Scrum Addendum.

The Scrum Addendum

I’ve been really quiet on this blog, and I’d like to explain why. For some time now, I’ve been collecting material that’s not specifically discussed as part of my CSM classes. Some of this additional material has been featured on this blog … but not all. I’ve been wondering what to do with this additional material for some time … What is the best way to distribute this information in a cost effective way in a manner that’s easily consumable by an audience? And so, I finally decided to create an online course that I’m calling The Scrum Addendum.

The Scrum Addendum is a 3 month email newsletter that seeks to answer some frequently asked questions about Scrum. It’s a collection of articles about Agile software development that starts with basic Agile ideas, and gradually moves to more challenging Agile concepts.

You can signup for The Scrum Addendum, here: http://Scrumology.com/signup/

What you’ll receive
When you subscribe, you will receive an email every week for 13 weeks. You’ll also receive two white papers: A Roadmap to Agile Development: A Strategy to Increase Adoption Success, and The Top 13 Organization Challenges of Agile Development. This is some of my best material and it’s been re-edited especially for this email series. In addition to the two white papers you’ll also receive articles on the following topics:

  • Keeping Daily Scrums short
  • Sprint Burndown Graph signatures
  • Release Burndown graph patterns
  • Eating one’s own dog food
  • Distributed Scrum and patterns for Success
  • Beyond Continuous Integration
  • The Principle of Postponement
  • Agile Contracts
  • My Favorite Resources
  • Online Agile resources
  • Understanding the Scrum Alliance Certifications
  • Scrum Gatherings

So, if you have enjoyed some of my work in the past, I would encourage you to signup for The Scum Addendum and continue your exploration into Scrum and it’s application. You can sign up here: http://Scrumology.com/signup/
